FNO Operations in Kolkata, IN:

It all started in Kolkata, in early 2016, when Abhibroto and Durjoy decided to document the local music scene and archive it under one platform. In the next two and a half years, they had already recorded 64 episodes of Original Independent Music, across 4 Seasons and 2 short special series. What started as a DIY project to audio-visually document and archive the Independent Music Scene of Kolkata, soon became a brand of its own, collaborating with studio houses and travelling musicians, coming from other Indian metropolitans or from outside the country. Friday Night Originals or FNO, as it is popularly referred to as, soon became a name that propagates Original and Independent Music.

The FNO team presently has around a dozen volunteers, who dedicatedly work towards documenting the beauty of Independent Original Music, irrespective of the performer's genre, language and popularity, depending only on the quality of the content created by the performer.
